Really stunning stuff Robert huge congratulations to you and your team on this release
It has been inevitable to see Seadragon/Photosynth be mixed with Surface… and the results are just outstanding.
Infinite ZUI space (2.5D) is definitely the future of browsing rich content and applications… also the use of physical objects or fidicuals to controls menu navigation is very fluid. As for Shadow Box… its great how the nature of its use creates beautiful abstract art. I’m sure its something we all dreamt about… dropping an object on your (digital) desk and it mocks it (takes photo) then allows for further manipulation (real life copy/paste). Very interesting times are amongst us… and I look forward to seeing what your team showcases next… I am sure it will inspire our community once again!
@Daniel - I agree and hope the Surface SDK becomes transparent and available to educational research and someday open community
@rlevy - Is there anything you could tell us regarding the SDK? Maybe even a date when you disclose more information on Surface Development?
