I just picked up this IR filter on eBay for 99 cents plus $7 shipping.  The seller (not me) has more.  Unfortunately, it will take 15-20 days to arrive from China.

let us know how it works i’m a little concerned that it might pass all light after 850nm… that would allow the projector to create a bigger hot spot than one with a 10nm or 40nm range.

I’m using an LED display instead of a projector, but I will give a review once it arrives.

UPDATE: Here is my review.  It was a waste of money.
