Help finding IR Filter

I have an Ezonics II webcam. I just took it apart and can not find the IR filter to remove...see attached files. The front of the lens has a redish tint. Is it possible that it is in the lens itself?

Can you take a pic of the back side of the lense.?
Sometimes the IR filter is in the form of a coating on the lens itself.

Here are 2 more photos of the lens back and front.

Additonally the sensor is completely covered by a piece of clear glass, so perhaps either this is the filter, or its underneath it. Either way I wouldnt be able to remove it.

--Edit --

One more thing, when i run touchlib config without the lens, but with 2 pieces of photo film covering the sensor, the first window is very bright with lights on...as soon as I start to put the lens on, it goes dark...making me think that it IS in the lens. With the lens and photo film in place on it is still sensitive to IR leds from a remote control.

Sounds like it’s in the lens coating.. but if you can see IR, you should be able to get blob detection if the contrast is high enough.

So I assume that an IR filter does not block ALL IR light?  I have been able to see light from LEDs in a remote control before touching the camera, so I figured that removing it would allow me to see even more IR.  On the other hand this is a fairly old webcam. Is it possible that it doesnt have one?

I am trying to make an MTmini like this one:

He used what I assume is an unmodded webcam. I am not using any IR LEDs (other than the ones in remotes to test) so maybe I dont even need to worry about IR filters or IR pass.

The MTmini work without the use of IR. It uses ambient room light and your fingers create a shadow. It’s a different approach that has it’s limits, but it can be put together easily and demo the software.
So all you need is the camera you have as it is. Download the software and build one! Good luck,

Right, I figured I can play around with this technology without modding the camera. But wouldnt having a camera that reads only IR light work better?  Of course IR illumination with an IR camera would work the most. That is assuming I could figure out how to wire up some IR leds…

Basically I want to test out the technology and see if I can figure out the basics of writing my own programs (I know a bit of Flash AS coding) before going out and buying a projector to actually build a full table.
