I put up a new version of the touchlib bins and also updated the flash photo app. Bins are now available for the flash apps as well. Check out the details on my Blog.

you state:

It is also using the openCV find contours function to locate blobs now though I haven’t done a side by side comparision to see if it’s any faster..

so there are now two methods being used or? or is the old one replaced by this one?

to locate the blobs, you say, do you mean detection or tracking, coz tracking sounds like locating as well....

I just got done testing the new apps and touchlib. Well, touchlib wont conform to my 16:9 format anymore (configapp/smokedemo/etc) - Even with screen scale set to 1.0 - It seems to be locked in 4:3 mode.

I ran the flash app, it ran really slow and lagged out. It also left all my touchpoints on the screen. The photo app velocity thing is neat though. Unfortunatley I just couldnt get the photo app working well enough to actually use it. Either it was bugging out, or running too slow.

Just wanted to give you some feedback as to how it runs...Anyone else running into these issues? Anyone else getting this running good?

edit*** - ran both in xppro and vista and got the same results.

i ran it with the new bins as well as the flash bins.
for me it worked better than the previous version of the flash apps. the mousedriver i couldnt get to work. i think i read that whitenoise said it’s just a proof of concept at the moment.

i did however get some touchpoint left on screen. the ones i pressed before i ran the photoapp.
i worked in xp pro

those that say it can’t be done shouldn’t interrupt those doing it

yeah, I didn’t say the ‘stuck touchpoints’ problem was fixed, only that you can press ‘b’ now in the touchlib apps to get rid of them.

The photo app does run a bit slower for me too which is unfortunate.
