Direct Light on top of my table

How to filter it of?
btw
1-I have a laser setup.
2-I still don’t have Rosco.
3-I only have 2 layers of negative inside my Xbox360 live webcam.

I tried 2 layers of floppy disk on top on my negatives it was to much 1 layer didn’t block as much.
I don’t know what to do now >.< can some one help?

The best is to use the IR bandpass filter as this will pass only the desired narrow part of the IR light spectrum.
The negatives and floppy disk are essentialy high pass filters. They block the visible range of light but they pass a lot of other IR light that will interfeere with your blob detection.
