Hello,

I’m making a vertical transparent tangible interface. I thought diffused surface illumination would be the perfect solution for me, because it can do fiducial and finger tracking. But is an enclosed box required for this set-up or is it possible to do the tracking without a box around it? Did someone test this already? I searched for it, but didn’t find a lot of information about it. For my design it’s important that you can see the projection from both sides.

Thanks in advance!

I’m not sure but I think that environmental light will destroy tracking. Even with an enclosed box too much light creates problems
