THanks to everyone for the hlp so far.

I opened config and see that the 6 windows have new names, so that’s good; however, the image is the same as before. this is probably due to my IR lights (the specs are on the last page with the first post that has pics). Should I fire up the projector or continue to tweak the filters and m IR light?

First you should be sure there isn’t much ambient light in the room, then you should press “b” to remove background noise. And then you can start tweaking the lights and sliderssmile

There isn’t much use to fire up your beamer until the blobs are recognized correctly..
Getting the IR light to spread evenly is very important for DI.  Then you can play with the different filters to get the blobs recognized correctly..
just play around with the different sliders so you can get a feel for what they do..

any suggestions for fixing the uneven IR? I have tried relecting it off tin foil, but that didn’t do much.

I have one IR emitter w/ 36 leds rated at 920nm (i think they’re 920). I bought it off rack-mount for $20.

You’d need atleast one more IR iluminator , one is not gonna cut it for one table. Most people use between 2-6 iluminators for their tables , depending on iluminator streght and table length and height.
Have you modded your camera and removed the IR filter from it?

I agree with Vlado… there is not enough light in the box :(

There is not much you can do with out enough light… also it should be spread evenly across your acrylic.

Jordan if you want to PM me with your CHAT name on AIM, MSN or Skype and we will try a couple more things to see if we cannot make your presentation deadline.
