Well I get my FireFlyMV tomorrow, and my Thorlabs 850nm bandpass filter, so my first test will be tomorrow!

I’m using two of AlexP’s 10mW 850nm lasers, (just one for testing),
Optoma HD70 projector
2’x3’x1/2” acrylic sheet
Rosco Grey
2’x3’ sheet of glass
PCB with voltage regulator (+5V)

Will update with the testing, wish me luck!

Looking Good.
I am about to build my own setup using Adam’s lasers.
Quick question.
Which 850 bandpass filter do I need to get from Thorlabs. the 10nm or 40nm?

It seems thanks to testing seen on NUI, that the 40 is actually better.

Its funny if only i’d bought shares in band pass filters id be doing very well for myself right now! I bet theres only a handfull of companies making them, Right now they must be wondering wher the hell there all going!  I bought a 940nm to match my leds for a ftir setup. and it works like a charm!

I need to update this thread with my current setup…

Finally I have a new test rig set up.

It is using 2 sheets of thin 24"x36" replacement glass bought from Home Depot. I have Rosco Grey sandwiched in between the 2 glass sheets. I did it this way to have a nice smooth projection surface, with no wrinkles. I’m currently using (1) AlexP 850nm 10mW laser mounted on a tripod.

The best part about using lasers is the 0 force touch! I love just being able to make contact, but not have to press down on the screen.

Will be posting videos very shortly...Stay Tuned!
