This is kind of tech for tech’s sake.

I like the idea, but I could see the wait staff turning into pack mules that get few tips. wink

I’ll have to show it to the restaurant managers and wait staff where I work and see what they think

I love it, love every aspect of it.  How much are you selling these for?  What’s the screen res and how waterproof are they?  Do you offer leasing?

Yay, no we can interact even less with people we don’t know! Nah but seriously, that software looks very clean, I think it’d be cool to play with. I don’t think it looks too complicated. But did you start working on this before or after hearing about the Microsoft Surface? Nearly everything about this design and marketing seems ripped from the Surface (similar fonts, music, beautiful people having their lives changed by touching a table, drinks interacting with table, laying credit card down for payment, etc).

If you are charging less than $10,000 for this, you may be able to pick up some market slack that the Surface folk aren’t reaching, that’d be pretty cool!

Well the Base idea is interesting , I mean for a restaurant with a big menu i could see this type of implementation , having pictures of every food item , a video , info on the nutrition it gives etc.
Tough I really don’t like your interface :D , your art department needs some work.

Hi all!

I’ll try to answer all questions as simple as possible.

The screen resolution is 1280px x 800px and the surface is fully waterproof.

The concept of TEO was elicited before MS presented their “mingle software”, and the video
content was also decided before the “mingle software” commercial was released, so no, it’s certainly not a rip-off.

For any commercially related questions, please contact Touchtech formally. Contact
information is available at the bottom of http://www.touchtech.se/.

I’d like to thank everyone for all comments, and please do criticize us more!

/S
