hii!!

it’s my first post but I have been playing with multitouch for a while.

I’ve ordered aixiz laser modules too, and it work fine but with other power adapter.

I don’t know if the power adapters that they provide don’t work with the voltage of EU. But if have tried another power adapter with the same characteristiques and they just work fine.

It’s possible that the power adapters that they provide only works in USA?

Here it is the specifications of the power adapters I use:

Input: 100-240 50/60Hz 100mA
Output: 5V 100mA

Thanks, but i’m not using there power adapter, i’m using a adjustable power adapter i have here. Which works perfect with 2 other lasers i have :(
It just seems as if the lasers i received are all broken/not working.. :( I tryed opening one to see if the wires we all connected, but its screwed on too tightly to get it opened..

Use two pairs of pliers padded with some tissue.  That should do the trick.  Or mount on end in a vice and padded pliers on tother.  That way you won’t mark it if you need to send them back!

Update: Lasers work, just make sure you power them at at least 3.2volts, 3v is not enough!

I’m powering them at 4,5v right now and can see the lasers. Try it at 4,5 maybe that works for you too?

I measured the current at it draws around 30ma @ 4,5v.. where my 10mw lasers draw around 22ma..

Are they really bright at 4.5 volts?  Sometimes if you run them at a higher voltage they will burn out then run at about half brightness.

they’re not extremely bright, would have expected it to be brighter, but it might be the webcam not being sensitive enough for this freq..
and going from nothing to what appear to be normal is a big win for me smile
