Cutting down PSU cables

Hello.

I have a PSU which will run two lasers.  The cable is 5 foot long, I need about 4 inches!  Is it safe to cut it down?

Yep its safe as long as you don’t have it connected to the power when you cut it rasberry

You mean the cable going into the PSU or out of it?  If it was in to it I would be careful, those have lots of voltage(110 - 220 depending on where you are), so just make sure you solder it back together and insulate it well.
