It seems like every third person on these forums has an Xbox Live Vision cam.  Why is this?  Do people just have them laying around, are they nice cameras, easy to use?

Thanks,

Alex

Mainly because the camera’s cheap for around $10 on ebay on top of that its much better at seeing IR than other cameras… and it gives a nice constant 30FPS on 640x480 res…
this camera is excellent for making a prototype

Cool!  Ill definitely have to get one of those.  If it works well ill try and corner a Firefly on its own, without all nine brothers and SDKrasberry
