Just to gather some info on my MT Table Setup....how are you guys mounting your laser modules onto your tables?  Problem I have now is that my glass surface is flushed to the sides of the table and I am sort of “stucked” as to how I should mount the lasers onto the table.  My lasers are similar to the ones that AlexP is using.  Any ideas??

Thanks!

I am thinking the same, I want to make the laser mount adjustable, but not so adjustable that the lasers can easily become out of position. I was looking at the hardware store for something that was able to mount the laser to a small woodblock, basically I want to try to make the woodblock adjustable/lockable and connected onto the metal frame, So the table can be adjusted, and lasers will stay in the same position over the screen.

Take a look at how MS Laser Touch did it.  One thing I noticed, is that the lasers are mounted quite high above the surface.  I am wondering....won’t that result in touch events being triggered even before he touches the surface?

Cheers!

Yes it will but the thing to note with this type of setup is that the camera is not behind the screen but above it… and im pretty sure that Mr. Wilson has specialised a way to do deal with that.
