The specs on the rig are up in the first post.

Thanks! This video was actually taken with my webcam on a low frame rate, so you can notice a little bit of lag. I’m using the ROI feature now, and the FPS has skyrocketed to 112, so i’ll have to make a new video showing the speed increase.

With the $50 shipping cost, I’m sure they could get it to where you are! smile

Hmm yeah seems about right, but your shipping is $50 more. Mine was $50 overnight from Canada to New York.

The 100 is for fedex shipping, so it probably could be cheaper if you take a slower delivery..

Canada -> netherlands, well i guess thats a bit further then new york rasberry

I guess i’ll have to save, but first i gotta pass my motorcycle exams and buy myself a motor smile

It’s a ton of money, but after running your hand across the smoke app @ 112fps, trust me you’ll know you did the right thing! It’s incredible smile

Great app Falcon!

The ROI setting is a Region Of Interest feature used on the FireflyMV FlyStream driver.

It reduces the area on the CCD in which to gather data from, increasing the FPS. The entire sensor is 768x480 I believe. In 320x240 ROI mode as AlexP has demonstrated, 112fps++ is possible.

but that’s cheating :D ...

Yea I know the sensor is quite large, but my table is pretty large too, so that makes it impossible to use a low resolution like 320x240.
