OLEDs = very cool displays with alot less power consumption than LCDs.

I think I heard about these before.. they’d be perfect for multi touch, but also probably a little too expensive, unless you’re on a big budget. :(

Ouch… 11” inch, now that’d make an amazing touch surface. :D

I got 6 of the sony oled xel-1.  I’m willing to open one up and try it as a mini multi touch if someone will guide me through it.

I tried to find a use for these small screens, but nothing.  It’s great as a digital picture frame, but that’s about it.  It’s too small to do anything else with.  I got them while I was in Japan.  The price there is about US $1,600-$1,800 when it came out. 

I connected it to a PS3, Xbox, Apple TV, and cable.  No bueno.  Color is great though.

Willing to fly out to someone’s location if they have the know how to try.

I think flying out to somewhere might be a little over the top, but I’ll gladly set up a skype connection to walk you through it. I have experience in taking apart and modifying a standard LCD screen.

Thought about it, but rather have someone who knows what their doing do it.  Will fly out.

If you don’t mind me saying so, judging from this and your other posts you’re not being very efficiënt. I know that you claim to have all the money one could possibly need for this project, but why all the needless spending?

Anyway, since you’re apparently investing a lot of money in this, I assume we’ll see some awesome results soon?

You’re right.  I’m poor and make less then $17,000 a year. I’m wasting my time and everyone else’.  I was waiting to be judged by the awesome members and wealthy community of the NUI Group.

Hey man, relax. I’m not attacking you. I was just saying that even though it’s great that someone is investing a lot of money into multitouch (which is good for all of us), I thought you could be more efficient about it. Either do something with my opinion or don’t, either way suits me fine. As long as you know I wasn’t trying to be rude towards you.
