Hi guys, I just received an old pc I intended to use for testing my set up. It is running windows xp, P4 2.8ghz etc.

When I double click config.exe I get the message “the application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect”

What the hell does that mean? Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks, I think you’re right as a few other sources have pointed to that also. I have installed .net 2.0 and 3.0 but still get same result. Will try complete uninstall/reinstall and see if that works.

Ok so I reinstalled .NET 2.0 and seem to be making progress. Config app will load if using touchlib beta. When I try to load Alex P’s speedfixed touchlib I get the error

“the application failed to startbecause MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem”

Any ideas why this might happen? I have checked I have all 3 of .the rar files and they are exactly as downloaded form Alex p’s post.
