Hey..

Okay, there isn’t much to go on here.. but I am starting this to at least document the process of me building a rear DI LCD MT setup..

Currently I have
- 1 17” LCD screen completely taken apart… I will get photos of this soon.
- 1 modified Logitech webcam with the IR blocker removed and I’m using a floppy disc to filter out the visible light (and you can see some results there via a flame test)

- Enough parts to build a computer
- A coffee table which I’ll be removing the centre glass piece out and replacing it with said MT pc.

Here goes! I will update this soon!

My Diffused Illumination Setup

Unfortunately I’m selling my MT table as I have to finish my PhD and have no time to play with/improve it.

this is the thread for people who might be interested in: http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/6809/

One minor problem… I’ve broken my LCD… so .. trying to get a new one which I’ll set everything up before taking it apart… moving it slightly while it’s on and not fix into position (ie. a tap or two on it) can kill it quite easily… really annoying.
