Hey,

I have a question about touchlib.
When you start configapp you get a screen where you can change somethings.
Do i have to change anything there or just let it be default.

As far as remember (it’s been a while I’ve fiddled with that) you can change the fps which reduces the resolution. more fps is better most of the time. so keep the fps up while retaining a sufficient resolution.
Cheers

I saw many videos of converting webcam to infra red webcam. Many just remove the IR filter and they dont use exposed film filter. So is it necessary to use exposed film?

Efendy..I saw from your setup that ir illuminators were at an angle? My question is will angle affect the performance. Is it fine if we project the illuminators perpendicular to the acrylic sheet?

Sri you have to put exposed film or floppy disk material because if you just move the IR filter of the webcam, the ambient light and the IR light comes into webcam sensor. If you put an exposed film or floppy material you cut the ambient light and your camer only sees the infrared light smile

No problem, I like your functional yet simple approach for the MT Table, and I am trying to do just the same. Did you experience some erratic behavior in the tracking system when the borders of the projection were touched? Let’s say, when an application window is maximized, was it possible to reach the “close window” button at the top-right corner?

Thanks for the info!

I might have missed it somewhere but how did you power the 4 IR illuminators? with 4 of these? http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ac-to-dc-12v-1a-power-adaptor-with-5-4mm-dc-plug-au-type-110-240v-15992

or did you have some sort of splitter, and if so, can you show us how? it should would beat having to get 4 plugs for 4 lights.
