I’m hoping that there are people in the community that like the idea and create an application that fits within the performance goal of critiquing the current media culture. Even if you don’t submit an app, I would like to know which available apps you think fit into this performance. If you know people in Portland please let them know about the event. And if you are as grateful as to put a post on our forum it is much appreciated.

There are some cool VJ apps available for Pure Data that could be modified using reactivision to be really cool.

And of course if your app is chosen you will be highlighted and credited in the exhibit and featured in the installation movie.

So the idea is to use the touch surface to manipulate the live video feeds from around the event, correct?

That could be possible. Mostly the table surface will be selectable as an input to the video performance. I’m looking for anyone with a new creative app, something visually stimulating and good for many people to interface at once. With all of the cameras that will be inside the event this will lead to some cool feedback loops and layering effects while using the table.
