I don’t really program in java, but I decided to throw a tuio mouse driver for mac os x based on the reactivision tuio demo java app. It works, but I am sure that the coding style isn’t really great, and there is probably a lot of extra stuff that doesn’t really need to be there. If anyone who actually knows java would like to clean it up for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

been using your mouse driver for the last couple of days, great work. this may be a stupid question but is there any chance there’s a way to right-click with it?

No, there isn’t. I am not really a java programmer, so I don’t know how. Sorry.

i just added in right-click to your driver (hopefully that’s okay), so i figured i should post it. the right-click works by using two fingers, one selects the point that you want the mouse to click and then while holding that finger down a second finger touching the table will cause a right-click. i threw it together in about forty minutes so it’s not exactly thoroughly tested by any means but seems to work fine on my FTIR setup.

That is great. And just so you know, I posted the code so that other people who knew java could make it better.

not entirely sure what the problem you’re having is, should just generate an executable jar (MacMouseDriver.jar) in the parent folder when you run the compile.sh script. here’s an assembled jar if you just wanted to skip the source altogether.

Sorry,

Yeah my post wasn’t exactly informative as to the problem i was having!

But being the intuitive type you seem to have solved the problem anyway!

Thanks.

I will try this out later.

First, thanks for this amazing mouseDriver for mac!
But I’ve the problem that it runs only well with the screen-resolution 1280x800.
I think this can be changed in the MouseDriver.java file(line 101-102). But if I try to compile (terminal: sh compile.sh), I have this error:
javac: file not found: *.java
Usage: javac <options> <source files>
use -help for a list of possible options
java.io.FileNotFoundException: manifest.inc (No such file or directory)
at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)
at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:106)
at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:66)
at sun.tools.jar.Main.run(Main.java:132)
at sun.tools.jar.Main.main(Main.java:1044)

I don’t know java in any way, but I dream of a running mouse driver for Mac wink

Attached mouse driver is working like a dream for me in Ubuntu 10.04 with the resolution of 1024x768 (XGA).

Thanx a ton u all..
