I tried it on a computer with a usb webcam and it seems to work. When I use it on a system using a firewirecam (firefly mv) it fails to detect the camera and crashes the application (exception).

The camera is using the default firefly mv drivers not the special directshow ones.

I just wanted to test it with video files. I don’t have any cam at work.
Would be better to get a message telling that a cam is requirements instead of exception

What does MIT or MPL license mean? Can it be used in commercial applications?

on start. Seems to be the same problem as in Falcon4ever’s case. But I run Mac OS 10.5.5 and built-in camer of MacBookPro.

if helps anyone...on Ubuntu had to install libpoco to start app
