Hi guys, another quick question…

Is it possible to allow the user to select the graphics card to use when in GPU mode? So if I have more than one graphics card I can dedicate one just to the image processing.

Hey cerupcat, thank you and all the developers a lot for this! I’d like to get involved and help more, for now, my contributions:

it is runnig ok here, but the GPU mode is scrambled.

the camera next and previous buttons are causing the app. to crash when clicked.

The last report, the application always starts minimized at the dock, and it came without the icon.

system tested:
macbookPro, 2.4 ghz intel core2duo
4 gigs ram
GeForce 8600M GT 256 mgs
Mac os x 10.5.5

When I turn on GPU i get nothing. I was doing this on the video footage which might have something to do with it.

@ Daniel D: if you open the config.xml

You can set the “USECAMERA” to 0 and then it’ll launch with video file. Next release will not have that exception. It’s an issue with openframeworks, not tbeta directly.

@ ###OCT###: GPU mode is still in early development and may not work on all machines. Also, you should probably remove background once switched to GPU mode.

Hi

I have launched tbeta and all is well when using the inbuilt isight but as soon as i switch to the fireflymv it kinda works for a bit but the image has a tracer effect? Completely scrambled.

Also the gpu mode just creats scrambled tracked image and so-on!  Any ideas

Os x 10.5.5 intel imac ATI Radeon 256mb

Woohoo...I love this one so much more than the previous software, the older one simply does not even compare.  Works great for me at getting blobs in my LCD Side DI setup

How to use tbeta without TUIO? Is it possible to get a picture from cam? How to write own filter? Is it possible to get an image from each filter?

Right now, no.

We are developing it as an addon for openframeworks as well as possibly a lib file which will give you access to those things. For right now, it’s TUIO only. The source will be out soon and then you’re free to adapt to your needs while we work on the addon/lib.
