I have this nasty hotspot in my setup, how can i remove it, can touchlib be configured to permanently remove this area if not the blob, its really frustrating..

You can try to remove it manually by putting an IR blocking film in front of the projector.

What are you using to block ambient / daylight from your webcam-lense?
If it’s a piece of floppy-disc you should better use 2 layers of exposed photo-negative (film). I had the same issue and it was solved by using 2 layers of negative.

Yeah, buying a hot mirror, like the one here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?ci=0&shs=rosco+hot+mirror&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=jsp/product.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=submit and placing it in front of the projector will get rid of the hot spot (at least the majority of it).

Thanks for the reply guys, i modded flosc to avoid that blob area , i cant get hold of a ir mirror now will take a long time to be shipped to india :(
