I took the current Flickr viewer application and added an Adobe Air shell to it on Saturday.  I mainly did this because I figure there is more than one person out there who would like to show their own photoset without having to get their hands dirty in the code.  Hope this helps a few folks!

I also added a few additional features:

Close, minimize and maximize the applications.
A settings panel that allows a user to change the Flickr photo set.
A refresh button that refreshes the photos.
Also added the ability for the application to scale.  ( for all those 1080p tables out there smile )

That sort of stuff.

Here is a link to the open source project:

Here is the link to the air installer file:

Keep in mind you’ll need the air run-time to be able to install this application.  The Air run-time can be found here:

Nice work , and thanx for thinking about us 1080p guys : )
Just one thing i noticed , that the touch response it not so fluid jet, so when i try to scale and rotate i get funny things, like when i just try to drag with one finger, it start draging but then starts rotating until i remove the finger....

I’m using the TouchLib Flickr code for the rotation and scale.  I remember there was few issues with it a while back.  Could be that or maybe I’m don’t have the Physical canvas set correctly.  It’s open source so if people have an idea as to the issue feel free to dive in or point out where I can fix the issue.

Thanks for the feedback,
Matt

I think there’s some issues with the physical canvas, I’m not a big fan of it. I haven’t gotten to test your app yet though. I’m sure it’s awesome, like all your work.
