There are so many different kinds of Rosco paper.  Which one do I need for a FTIR setup.  I currently have Vellum, but would like a clearer picture.

Rosco isn’t a paper, at least not the one generally used on the forum. The majority of people use ‘Rosco Grey Projection Screen’. The black or white ones are usually not as good for our setups.

From what i’ve noticed Rosco Grey works best for FTIR & LLP setups.... however Rosco White or Twin White works a lot better for DI setup… White has it benefits and flaws… for example it diffuses IR light really well in DI setups but at the same time doesnt block as much IR as Rosco Grey does as a result its more prone to ambient ir false inputs.

What is a good site to order rosco grey film in the USA?  I can’t seem to find a local store that sells them.  I also saw this thing online about 3m’s projection film called Vikuiti.  Would this work?  And how much do you think it would cost? $100 for a 34x40 inch?

I ordered mine from rosebrand.com

Here’s the direct link: http://www.rosebrand.com/product703/Projection-Screen-and-Rear-Projection-Screen.aspx?sid=r2SQ/dmkLwGwaHFXwghz1un/cxf1mYFg7ko83i3DVetf8FLlUXa4AQ==&tid=2&info=projection+screen

It doesn’t say Rosco on the page, but it is in fact rosco so you don’t have to worry. Rosebrand is a reseller of rosco products.
