Hey Seth this is really nice. I spent far too long making hypnotic loops already!

I had been thinking about using the new sound generation in FP10 to make a simple touch app - like a kind of horizontal theremin, but yours is much nicer and just as simple. And I love Christians tweening background. Cool

Seth,
When you say you ‘ported’ it from the iPhone, does that mean you literally used some of the same code, or did you just get the idea from the iPhone app? If it is the previous, how did you do it? - iPhone programming is in Objective-C, right?

thx

No, just that I saw the app and created the same thing. Didn’t actually port any code over, just the concept/idea.

Hi and welcome ideesh.

The rollover in or touch system would mean, putting a finger down and then rolling over the object (like crossing it out with your finger). So if you press down and you’re not on an object, and you drag and hit the object, you’ve ‘rolled over.’ In the instance of this application, a rollover kills a circle.

Cool work Seth,

i had a nice time with Bloom on the iPhone allready, but it is nice to see that on a table. Are you considering to implement also some different moods? grin

Cheers,

Awesome Seth!

The sounds are amazing, very soothing!! smile How do you get it to harmonize?  Also, do you match it to some tempo/beat or is it just as random as I click/touch?  No matter what I do I can’t get it to sounds “not good” rasberry ....which is very cool!

This is cool.  But I cant seem to use the multi touch with flash files.  It’s like if it don’t recognize my touch at all.

@ sandor: Thanks! Yeah, i’ll probably add the different modes and ‘delay’ slider. I have half the modes figured out (which scale they are).

@ thomas.hansen: It ‘harmonizes’ naturally because of the scale. It’s just a major scale and generally when you press any notes together in a major scale (as long as they’re not right next to each other) they’ll sound ‘pleasing.’ There’s no matching to a beat, when you press it just creates the sound and then each circle has the same delay time before it plays again so it loops in order of when you pressed. smile

@ noobpower: make sure to set the flash global security settings. It should connect just fine.
