tap wm_tuio icon (to hide) maximize flash app (taskbar still visable) tap w2tuio icon.  This should work. If not try the opposite.

ides: I am not sure what is happening, but try to tap on the small animating icon in the tray area (right bottom). If you tap it twice it should hide-show ,, you can disable autohide by customizing the tray bar....

I know this has been asked before, but is anyone making progress on the opposite--a TUIO2W driver?  Or is there another thread on this topic floating around?

BTW the new ntrig drivers (released yesterday) seem to work a little bit smoother / bit more accurate in the simple MT desktop application. Worth installing them!
AND they now also have MT drivers for the HP TX2...... so these lucky ones should also be able to run our software!

I second this question! smile

Our MT tables/walls ----> Windows 7 touch features (not just TUIO apps… again, you gotta see all the improvements on common controls (smooth scrolling, tap > pull up on taskbar icons to open up the “jump lists”, new touch keyboard that’s in the tablet input panel, etc)

Wasn’t there another thread?

Thanks

Any word on what the full list of multitouch capabilities of windows will be? How much of it is more than what mousedriver can accomplish - I searched for a bit on google, but all I found was demos...no comprehensive information from Microsoft or anyone with inside info. Of course, pinch and zoom is in all the demos...but anything else? It’d be interesting to see how creative microsoft got with including mt integration…

The W2TUIO app is slightly updated&improved:
1. You can now pin the app to the taskbar (previously generated an exception): right mouseclick on the W2TUIO application and select “"Pin to taskbar”.
2. It is more or less supporting Screen rotates (e.g. when screen is folded to slate position).
3. Calibrated for portrait and landscape orientation (of course has to do with 2).

The file is attached to the ORIGINAL POST. I will remove all my other attachments in this thread.

@james: no can do: Vista is not capable to generate/deal with multitouch events.
It would be possible if ntrig would embed such a w2tuio app in their driver for vista, but I am sure they have other priorities at this moment in time. (funding from Microsoft, roll-out of coming Tablet PCs etc).

Joukev Ive installed the new n-trig drivers and now my false touches problem is back.  It seems to click the top left of the screen automatically and become unusable.  I had better results with the ntrig drivers from last week.  Did you notice this on your setup?

Touchmaster, yes I noticed similar problems just when I tried to demo this for a large group - annoying! However since that moment I cannot recall that many false touches as the very first pre-beta from ntrig.
will test this tomorrow....

In that case I have a copy of the last known working driver.  I will uninstall non-working then reinstall last know working ntrig driver (dated around Jan 21.) Hope this works. I recall issues with installing or reinstalling ntrig drivers on the dell xt hope this is fixed with build 7k.
