hello, i don’t think this topic is in the forums after having searched for awhile; though maybe it’s too simple to be…
however, i am not familiar with mirc and was wondering if there is a way for me to connect to the group mirc channel while on linux?
currently i am using ubuntu.
i checked their site but saw only downloads for windows.
anyone know?

those that say it can’t be done shouldn’t interrupt those doing it

cool cool, about 35-40 people on irc every day, so i bet there are enough people that want to help you out, the more people the more fun

Ubuntu installs with a chat program called GAIM. Gaim supports Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Jabber, ICQ, and IRC...and more. Anyways, just go to accounts, and setup GAIM to connect to IRC.FREENODE.NET - You can also have it autojoin #FTIR if you want, or do it manually. It’s how I connect when in Linux, and it works great.

Ciao
