I’ve been lurking on this forum for months now and before I get to my project, I just wanted to say thank you!
A few weeks ago I finally built my own LLP setup based on the original AlexP setup. I used two laser modules from AlexP with a custom power switch and for now mounted with putty. I created an aluminum frame with 1/4” plexiglass from my local hardware store and inset the screws so that they wouldn’t interfere with the lasers. I also used L-bars and glued black foam inside as laser edge guards. Rosco Grey is attached on the back of the acrylic with double sided tape. For projection I borrowed a NEC WT610 short throw projector from work. I’m running a PS3 Eye with IR filter removed and a 25mm 850nm bandpass filter from omegabob. I also made a custom mount for the ps3 eye to attach to a standard tripod. Below is a demo video as well as some photos. I’m planning a few more modifications, but I’m more eager to start developing some applications.
