Really great work. Is any of your work opensource? Would be great to see some examples that could help the community. smile If you have code changes it be great if you could contribute them to the database smile

It looks really awesome!
You said ‘nearly totally rewritten’ did you still use the TUIO AS3 files to start off with, or did you reconfigure any of that as well?

Hey all of you,

So, Seth, i agree with you, , I will share my sources very soon. wink

I use FP10 to do this. It’s a llp setup. 80 inch diagonal. I’ve 2 850nm lasers, (on which i’ve changed the diode). Power is about 10mw.(just because i didn’t find any 1mW diode of 850nm !!).
I’ve read a lot of people who want to buy 10 or 30 mw lasers !!!!! it’s to much guys. smile it’s like killing a fly with a hamer! with the 10mW i can see them 5 meters away when they are well focused…

concerning the cams. When I’m in a good mood i put two fireflyMV near the screen, and when i m not, I just put one at 1,40 meters. smile
I’ve added a band pass filter just at 850nm. With this I see ONLY ONLY ONLY the blobs smile

concerning the processing, i use my version of touchlib, wich sends xml directly to Flash. No more flosc or any osc blablabla :p
So my processing soft act also as a server for TCP. and will begin processing as soon as a client is connected.
All this processing takes 1% CPU on a normal dual core and 2% of i stitch the image of 2 cam to have an image of 1280*480 .
My flash app uses 50%.

i will upload a lot of other videos of my app asap, like video puzzle, Bar ordering…

Thank you for your previous comments guy

Very cool Maiko.

This is kinda the wrong space to say this, but since you say you have your own ‘touchlib’ that runs at %1 - 2% (which is somewhat surprisingly) would you care to share any of it and optimize our current software? I’m sure yours is more geared to only your setup of course which would explain the low cpu.

This I something I’m VERY interested in seeing!

And I really like the Google Map, are you thinking of adding onto the interface so users can search and get directions directly from the Google Maps API?
That’s the next step I’m going to try with working with Google Map.

Hey.

It’s not Google Map Cyen, but Yahoo Map. Yep I m coding this with yahoo web service. it’s very simple to implement in fact.

And jimi : “Je suis Belge” wink

Seth , i will not share my sources but i will sure share my knoledges. In fact, i’ve coded every thing you have seen, in ...2 mounths. So you can imagine that the code is quite.. dirty :D !! no handling exception, no more cross platform, etc…
I’have written a code that will be suitable and efficient for my setup, my cam ... Sorry for that, i’m not an apple fan boy or linux addicted :p

BUT BUT BUT I will prepare a big post where i’ll explain all the changes i’ve made. smile

And thanks for your nice comments

Maiko
