Hi xdvst8x,
Been lurking a while waiting for a brave soul to foot the bill. I’d like to get in on the order for one 32 x 24 sheet. I’m in PA. Just let me know how and when to pay. Thanks for setting it up!

Thanks! smile

You mentioned a few days ago that some of the suppliers were confused about what you were trying to get. How did you eventually get across to them what was needed?

Yes 2 of the suppliers one in daytona, and the other in orlando did not have a clue.. as to what i was talking about.

To me, if i ask a question about a product that is sold in the line of products that you work in, you should “know” what im talking about.. so needless to say they are not getting the business.. smile

The company im using is in Tampa, FL. and I can drive the 80 miles to pick it up.. to save all of us some $$ on shipping.

Yup, Ive found acrylic/plexiglass companies usually carry WAY too many different types and grades of the materials that they sell that they usually have to get back to you about certain uncommonly ordered items.  Awesome job setting this up for people xdvst8x.

At least you got a callback wink The two places I tried never got back to me.

I wish I had seen the pre-modded cameras before I enthusiastically ran out and bought a normal PS3Eye wink I’m more anxious to get the table built so I can write software for it than anything else. The quicker I can get to that stage the better.

i cant wait to get my table built either ( i’ll have to post some pix later tonight of my progress) its based on Viper’s design or from what i can see anyway lol.

i even went and wasted(i think) 55 bucks on regular plexi hoping it might work so i can get something working....lol so we’ll see how that works tonight with my new ps3 cam.

i am anxious to get this thing built, i do alot of software dev with Flex Builder. i have some neat app ideas to try smile

PeauProductions: in one of my other posts.. i found those surface mounted ribbon IR LEDS from a distributor in china.. they cost about 1/2 what Environmental Lights charges.. i know you have your website store… u want me to PM u the info?

Count me in for piece of 24x32.

I’ve been lurking and reading all the posts for the past week. The more I read the more I get confuse on what to build. So now I decided on building the FTIR / DSI . I just received a piece of acrylic 24 x 32 and some IR LED today. Waiting on ps3eye from (PEAU).

Please do. I probably won’t start on mine at all until I have everything here ready to go… I still have to work out the mirror setup for my projector.
