Just put up a quick post to wrap up this lovely holiday weekend.
A really simple 3D cube script, not using Papervision or anything like that.
TouchEvent controlled to change cube rotation.

You WILL need to be able to export to Flash 10, no earlier.
Flex would do that right? I know Flash CS4 does that.
Do any other swf compiler programs do that as well, like FlashDevelop?
Not too familiar with programs outside Flash CS4 and a little Flex.

Nice man.  Yeah I saw that cs4 cube thing awhile back when I was playing around with PV3d.  So this would be smoother and faster, less demanding then PV3D?
And another question would be, can you assign Touch Events to the faces of the cube?

You can. Find where i have the addEventListeners for the TouchEvents.
The lines that are commented out apply directly to the object.
Just swap what is commented out.

I think PV3D still has a lot of advantages. Texture mapping, model importing, lighting...just need to figure out how to do all that stuff.
I’m hoping to able to hope back into working with PV3D more in the future.
