Sheets come in 80x120x.315in pieces.

I need 80x22.5in. That leaves an 80x97.5in remaining. Cost has yet to be determined but it will be between $0.20 per sq. in. A little pricey but it’s the cheapest I can arrange it for. You pay for shipping, also, probably around $10-$30 in the USA.

Post if you’re interested. I’ll update this thread with the sizes of pieces left. Remember, the saw blade is .22in wide.

The sooner I get all of this allocated, the better. I want my endlighten!

UPDATE: price confirmed at $0.20 / sq inch

UPDATE: amount 120x22.5 taken

UPDATE: 5056 sq in remaining

UPDATE: Once I’ve found enough people to buy Endlighten, I’ll calculate the cost including shipping for each of you. You’ll pay me via Paypal and then I’ll give all of the money and the cuts to the plastics shop, who will cut, polish, and ship it directly to you. Please note that it will be ONE MONTH from when we order it to when it arrives. I was originally told ten days but now I’ve been informed that it’ll be a month. If anyone finds a faster place, we can do that. If you have any questions, please PM me.

i’d probably be in for a 40” by 22.5” piece, only question would be the shipping cost. How were you planning on shipping it and would you be willing to ship to Canada? Also, what type of endlighten is it (L, XL, etc.)?

I just did a shipping estimate from UPS from San Diego to Toronto (not sure where you are) and it like $23. It’s XL.

I’m in Kingston so shipping would be about the same. Count me in (unless I missed something $180 plus shipping).

Well of course Pete is nice, he gets tons of my money smile But he is a very busy man.
I talk to him weekly, and am hanging with him for a few hours tomorrow.
I have a lot of stuff to get done…

Sweet. I might try to get a closer place to do it, though, to reduce the shipping cost by a few hundred. You know of any east coast plastic places?

Hey Wes - I want in on the Buy.  I need a piece of Endlighten that’s 26"x20".

Building a box that has a 24*18 viewable (for the PS3 cam limitation of 4*3), but need some extra lip around the edges.  Was going to put a piece of 7D006 on top.  Peau your opinion on that?

East coast plastic - try Canal Plastics in NYC.  If they have it let me know before you buy anything.

Thanks
Justin

A friend asked for 16” by 14”. There are 6156 sq inches remaining. Additionally, if the remainder gets sold within a week, I’m willing to pay a little extra and let you all get it for $0.18/sq inch and I’ll give $10 off shipping! I really, really, really want this stuff soon.

I’m in for a 17.5” x 12.5” piece (204 sq. in.) - $39.38 at your discounted price; $43.75 @ the $.20/sq. in. price. I’m in Baltimore, MD. By the way, is it polished enough? And payment via PayPal?
Thx,
-rbedi100

I’m pretty sure that it’ll be polished (I can confirm this, though), and Paypal is ideal for payment. Right now, we have about 5000 square inches left to sell. Ugh.

Not yet. If you’re using LCD panels and wanna try out backlighting with Endlighten, you could help out with the remaining 5k, though rasberry (see http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/5108/ if you want details on that method)

How thick is the Enlighten (mm)?
What size is it (L,XL)?
Will it be strong enough for a 45” across table top?

Elias: we’re determining whether to use .315 or .5 inch Endlighten. I’m not sure about its strength, but if the shortest side is 34 inches or shorter, then the light should be even. I’ll get back to you on the thickness.
