hi Nuigroup people, id thought i would post onfo and videos of my MTT project.
ive spent allot of time on this project and if it wasnt for the help of this site and of course PeauProductions (who is a legend) i wouldn’t be able to achieve what ive done.
the setup is a DSI 19” LCD (Acer AL1916W) and im using Endlighten acrylic with around 100 850nm 5mm LED’s and a modded PS3 camera.
at the moment its not finished but is working so thought i would post a vid up. now at the time of the video the app wanst calibrated properly and i hadnt installed the graphics card or updated the ram so its a bit choppy at the moment but im pleased that it works.
i can uses minimal pressure to get blobs and the drag is fine but the main issue is getting the back light sorted as if i use the defuser the camera doesn’t pick up my fingers very well but i will sort that out soon.
the camera is mounted at the top of the table and im using a mirror to reflect the screen to the camera making the box only 33cm tall and 55cm wide so quite a small box.
