I installed win7 on my MT and I can control the OS with the drivers of Daniel, but when I switch to send TUIO to tcp for flash, my app is not receiving anything on the TCP socket. Does anyone have an idea why?
Thanks
Greg

This is completely insane, Fire and Ripples demo app don’t work neither but the other demo app do work. WHY?

EDIT:
OMG!!
This was because TUIO was initialized as “localhost” and not 127.0.0.1!!!!
So using 127.0.0.1 WORKS!

I looked into the sources of CCV and I might have found a solution for sending both OSC and flash TCP messages. I’ll try it tomorrow on my setup and will keep you informed.

Yeah exactly, it was the same problem!
Although I changed “localhost” to 127.0.0.1 in the app but I guess changing the DNS settings is better!
Thx

Hi all,

So this thing works. It can send both OSC and TCP to flash at the same time.
To activate it hit “w”. To deactivate it, just click on either TCP or the OSC radio button. This button coincides with the “w” button when resizing the blob capture window, but I don’t think its a huge issue. Its a quick and dirty solution anyways.
Now the thing is that when using both to send touch data, win7 displays mouse pointer and graphic mouse on display in the flash apps. So it would be great to be able to deactivate those in win7 when using touch.
Anyone have a solution for it?

So tell me how it works for you.

Greg

EDIT.:
I just noticed that win7 touch driver hangs from time to time so win7 touch becomes unavailable.
