Hi everyone

First of all, i’ld like to thank you all for all the precious information I’ve found here

I’ve started a multitouch table using DSI and LCD, I would like to test if I get a better result with Rear DI and I was wondering if I could use my sheet of acrylic enlighten for rear DI (just to test)

Right now my setup is working well for touch recognition but I’m having a lot of issue with drag and drop. I keep loosing blob when my fingers are moving

Does anyone have tester a rear DI on a acrylic enlighten?

Thanks
Rampa

You want to combine Rear DI and DSI?  First off using a LCD for Rear DI won’t work due to the polarizing layers in the LCD which block IR light coming from behind the screen.
And DSI LCD thus only works with the Endlighten on top of the LCD screen, though some members have said that the Endlighten makes the LCD image slightly hazy, but my tests have not shown this too much.

Thanks for the reply
And did you find a solution to increase the movement tracking on LCD DSI? I can track touch very nicely but I lose the blob as soon as I move my fingers
