You could set up the autologin so won’t need to log in neither.

@Daniel D: You say you can’t distribute the SDK because you changed some code in it. But can you share the unchanged SDK with ViSys?
Thx
Greg

nemenvisual have found a torrent of Touch Pack (includes Surface SDK for Win7 without ViSys) http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewreply/38402/ Maybe he will find also a torrent for full Surface SDK.
Sorry, I can’t share Surface SDK in any form.
Maybe if we all together politely ask rlevy, he will give us Surface SDK smile

Do you need Multitouch framework for WPF that works with any device? Visit http://multitouchvista.codeplex.com/.  It also includes multitouch driver for Windows 7.

Yeah Daniel, no problem I understand you can’t. I’ll contact rlevy to find out what he thinks.
But do you think that we could achieve any better result with 5 ps3 cams? Do you know if there is some automatic cropping among those 5 cams or one would need to set them so that their vision not overlap with each other?

Now just a quick question about starting automatically Multitouch.Driver.Service.exe. I installed it as a service (uninstalled the other one) and I set to start automatically but it doesn’t start at system startup. Do you know if there is something else to set or a dependency or something?
Thx
Greg

There is a calibration tool, so you don’t have to position cameras manualy. Only 4 cameras are needed. 5th camera is a combination of parts of 3rd and 4th cameras. It will work with ps3 or any other cameras.

For your question… I will look at it at home.

Great work Daniel. Very cool to see. So the right side of the screen is the tracker used in surface?

Theoreticaly yes. It could also recognize tags (fiducials) if I had better camera resolution / more cameras. Maybe I have to just print the tags with other size.
I’v got my ir filter for camera and cable for projector. I will post a new video showing the picture direct on device.

If you are .NET developer knowing how to use Reflector then it should not be a problem.

no I know he can’t do it. I understood that. I’m ready to learn .NET I just don’t know where to start.
Daniel can’t do it for me because you have to be in front of the setup to make it right. There are some cameras adjustments that can’t be done without the setup I guess.
