If you are in Portland on July 2nd join us at The Grassy Knoll Gallery for a solo exhibit of artist Yellena James work. Gorgeous and affordable original art and prints. In addition, Fashionbuddha Studio has collaborated with Yellena James and Radium Audio to create a custom multitouch application called Aquarium. A drawing application that brings her creatures and prints to life. Stop by, play around, say hi!

Cool man, though the demo for the Aquarium one definitely needs a higher frame rate camera… I’d get frustrated using that thing with such a delay :(

I think we’ve got most of the performance issues resolved - problems with overburdening flash more than anything else. Hopefully tomorrows footage shows it off better and eager to hear what nui members think.

Thanks for the interest in the app and the exhibit. The show was a big success, a steady stream of people the entire night and the first in our new street-level location. Although Yellena’s original art was the main attraction people immediately understood the connection between the Aquarium app and poured around the table to try it out.

Unfortunately did not get the great video I was after, a combination of being much busier during the show than I thought, and the small amount of footage did get was confusing because of so many hands playing at once. Setting some time aside next week to get some better clips.
