Saw this really cool article and wanted to share with the group. It is an open source 3D printer that you can build yourself. Not really “NUI” related, just thought it was really cool.

i am working with some guys (using MT with the Blender Game Engine) from NYCResistor, which is related to the makerbot project… It’s a hacker place that often holds workshops here in NYC.. Brooklyn actually…

I thought the makerbot would be perfect for fabricating laser diode mounts. especially since I’m local and can spend some time to get it right before announcing them to the NUI group.
