Hey guys, would this set up for an LLP work?
6x8 wall
10 10mw lasers with 120 degree line gens
2 firefly nv cams

2 4k projectors

my questions are:
anyone sells the camera as a kit, with bandpass filters and lenses?
has anyone done a similar set up? can you provide a link, I need to see how lasers where placed, been looking for weeks and I have seen some LLP and IR LED’s on the same set up.. why??

Would it work? Probably. Could it work? Absolutely.

10 lasers seems like a lot. The only reason to use so many is if you plan to track dozens of touch points simultaneously. How many people do you envision using the wall at the same time? Are the wall dimensions in feet or meters?

I don’t know anyone who sells a modified firefly but a number of members of this board have the requisite knowledge to do so. I’m sure you can find someone willing to help you out - for a price of course.

There have been numerous walls built over the past couple of years. Search the forum for “multi touch wall” or similar and you’ll find plenty of links.

Forum member cepdave is building a wall using 2 projectors. Check out this thread for more info: http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/5402/ . You might want to seek advice from him.

For the camera, try sending a PM to PeauProductions. He’s already selling modified PS3 cameras. He might be willing to mod a firefly for you.
