Hey Guys,

just in short - we have started with Ben a new MT project. It is a TUIO implementation/framework whatever for a 3d-gaming platform called Unity-3d. Just visit this link for some more infos - also don’t hesitate to give up some nice comments there… wink

This sounds and looks cool. I am downloading the demo to see what this actualy is.

So if I understand this is a way of developing multitouch applicatons with unity-3d engine? Or something similar? If this is true and it is easy to use - I am all over it! I have some nice ideas for multitouch applications (even if they are only partialy multitouch) that I realy want to do. But I don’t know how to use the OpenGL/Quartz 2d/Core animation (all from mac os) and I don’t have the time to learn. I know how to make useful applications that do something (command line tools, simple GUI apps) but not applications that would look great and be useful.

EDIT: Just tryed the demo - this is fantastic!

sandor- I’ve tried out the molecule demo and think it’s really amazing.  Thanks for introducing me to Unity, I will look into this for development.  I’m really interested in the map application.  Did your client provide the 3d industrial map or did you make it from scratch?  Keep it up.  This is a Surface Killer for sure.

awesome,

im glad you pm’d me sander, and glad your working with ben. i have been using BBOSC for sometime. I will try the molecules demo. im checking out xtuio from the repository right now, hopefully i will be more successful with the BB implementation as I am normally when i use BB stuff.

So im taking a class in multi-touch right now and teaching some class mates how to do multi-touch mainly with quartz composer but if i can get xtuio working its a whole new ball game. I really like unity I will get the iphone version soon and most definitely I will download snow inferno.

things are looking good my friend.
