Yo guys,

I know this may sound a bit ‘stupid” but true.

For Rear Projection, what we see from the front wont be the same as compared to Front Projection.

If a Movie has Subtitles, the letters might appear mirrored in the opposite direction.

How do you guys solve this problem?

It also means that different setups will need a way to rectify this picture orientation depending on the number of mirrors and etc…

yeah like arno says, the menu might help you out,
i wouldnt go with more then 1 mirror though
i havent tested it but its likely that your image quality will go down after redirecting it several times with mirrors
most people use a “normal” projector with 1 mirror and in some cases if they have enough budget a short throw projector like the 700/710 DMS from 3m or the toshiba et10 or et20 (which have crappy resolution though), okay this one went a bit of topic, sorry smile

I was thinking of getting a lumenlab evo.

Looked through the manual “Turn Over - Flip the projected image vertically.”

Hmm...As for horizontally guess...its not really designed for Rear Projection. Correct me if I am wrong.

Is there any way to do this throught DirectX? or VVVV without incurring performance problem?

shouldn’t a mirror take care of this problem?

While my projector DOES have the option to compensate for rear-projection, it’s currently turned off, because it projects through one mirror.

If you have 1 mirror in your system (not two!) you should be fine.
