Hello,

there is a Jitter and a VVVV implementation of TUIO at Jittuio:
http://jittuio.blogspot.com/

with Jittuio you can do Multitouch tracking on a Mac with Max/MSP/Jitter.
So no more need for Windows running Touchlib or VVVV

It is based on the 2up.jit.centroids object of http://2uptech.com

Hi Suebo and welcome to nuigroup.

Are you the creator of jittuio? I’ll have to check out the Max patch, although I’m very happy with touchlib.

Nice to see some other users using Jitter for their projects! I’ll have to check those objects out for my project.. Have you compared performance with the 2up object vs. the cv.jit objects? I am currently working on a project (video @ http://www.fromthemachine.com/touch ) which uses Jitter for the tracking.. Works OK if you move your fingers slow but if you move too fast then it doesn’t work as well - note that it’s all running on a macbook pro, too, so if I split up the tracking and the UI I think it would speed things up a bit.
