i bought it from a friend who works for siemens - it is from an industrial machine ... it tracks printing errors on an assemlby line. but i saw that http://www.lensation.de have similar lenses with extra low distortion.

just finished the painting last week and managed to get the automated multitouch.service running =)
props to mashine, amit and art’s great tutorial -> http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/10089/
THX guys!

but i have a problem - i triggered the multitouch service (via task planer) to start at logon, then it takes 15-20 seconds until CCV is started & runs hidden in the background....BUT: once a while i have to do a background cut - can i “re-map” the button to be able to do a bg cut without restarting CCV to be able to see the gui? is there a way to make a bg cut via hotkey?

ill make a new video showing showing the actual table design and how the hid automation works…

p.s. where can i find the NUI logo as a vector file?

update:

im a little dissapointed because i didnt want to use a mirror and therefore bought that sanyo ultrashort projector… but the picture comes out veeery high (~14cm!!) and physically tilting the projector causes massive keystoning because i have to tilt the projector too much. need a front surface mirror… any ideas where to buy a one in germany?

hi just read it.. so sorry to be late

I’ll get my mirror here but maybe u found some other store and will share it for all the other germanmembers wink

correct, i removed the mirror and built an additional “projectorbox” and mounted it to the main body (check the picture with the speakers). it was extremely tedious to mount & align the projector to the screen… it was about 1-2mm and i had to do it all by myself. im sure there are smarter ways to mount the proj. but i used two 10mm sheets (one backplate from proj. and the other directly to the box) and simply screwed… unscrewed...screwed...unscrewed… etc.

ill make some videos of the interior if ur interested…

I am… I have the same projector and it’s hell to align it correct. So it would be great if there is a chance to be inspired by your solution wink

@the_goat i love your DSI table - the seamless glass/acrylic top is what I have been trying to achieve with my 32” LCD DSI table. But i’ve been having a lot of trouble with layers on top of the endlighten stopping all my blobs. I am using the high brightness LED strips around all 4 edges and it still seems to be not enough light. How are your LEDs attached? I read that you used a deep U channel. Does this improve the illumination? My Leds are currently butted against the endlighten with no U channel.

Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers
Ben

afaik yes, the u-channels are a must because they not just focus the light output but also reflect.
thats why my u-channels are silver-coated… check my project thread.

BUT: be careful how you build the “screen-mount” and how you design the u-channels to be mounted to your casing. we had an eye-opening moment when we tried to install the strips… a step-by-step-drawing helped a lot… it was a like tetris wink
