Hey guys
First of all I would like to say how thankful I am and show my appreciation for all this community has done for me, I would especially like to thank Machinegun, Daniel D and fairlane.
So when i started I had 7 days to construct all of my table and the first 2 days we couldn’t get the materials required so a very awesome mate and I had to build a decent frame out of wood supplied-
We built it in two parts the base(pic 94) and the extension(pic 96).

after this we put in our components (pic 122)
so then we assembled the box after securing the components and started configuring
At these early stages we are having trouble deciding on the ccv settings and how to use them but we are still picking up fingers. (pic 130 includes a demo with some other students-in .zip with videos)
I must say that we have been experiencing some delay with our mouse mov ( by the way we have a hp 6530b laptop with win7 loaded on to it with a ps2 cam @30fps)
So i have included 2 videos one where we are happy with the tracking(mov 14) and annother one with delay.(sorry for the foul language in mov 15 there was a fight going on behind us)
Thanks Nui group.
(p.s If you have any advice or tips you are willing to share please post them so that we can improve our table in its early stages)
Regards
Tim

we move it alot because people love it and they want it in a particular spot. And yes lighting is very important for we dont have to use our 2 ir 36 led lights.
as you can see they are small but im not sure where to put them?
and we always calibrate every time we move but we cant pick up awesome blob tracking we only get decent tracking. any tips?

Tim, you will need to ventilate that enclosure, if you havent already. Try to separate the projectors heat exhaust from the same air space that its drawing air from to cool the lamp housing.

I should also mention that the projected image at the surface is showing up in ccv and does not allow us to use fingers in the specific areas/ boxes. We are not sure how to get rid of the shaddow that the projector causes the tinted acrylic to have, as you can see we dont have a defuser, is this our problem?
