I have been working on getting CCV to work as a service.  the issue i am having is that each time i start CCV the background setting doesnt seem to save.  I dont want to turn on dynamic background because i was told it slows things down and also the finger blobs tend to disappear too quickly.

Does anyone know where the background remove setting is saved in the config files?

or is it possible or a method to remove background automatically on the start of CCV?

Many thanks

background should be removed automaticly on ccv startup already… regarding the dynamic subtract option, if you disable it in the config.xml, it should not be switching on again…

May i ask what are the issues or concerns with dynamic subtract, i cannot remember where i read but i think someone said it effects speed or dragging, or something.

Also what does Learn speed do? is that related to dynamic subtract?

dynamic subtract enable automatic backgroung learning… the learn speed determines of fast the newbackground will be set… so yes if you put learn speed to high, blob will be learned as background too fast… but if you put it around 10-20, you’ll get a very good result ou tof this option…
