i’ve attached a image showing two table designs. Which one is better? smile

left: No Glass Border
right: Glass Border

Table height: 30 inches.

I vote with Glass Border. I think it’s more like “table” and less than “cube”. My opinion…

The right one looks identical to Microsoft Surface. Therefore, go for the other design.

beein similar to ms surface is does not haw to be a bad thing.
so I wote fore the right one smile

Wich btw. is similar to what design I am planing on using.

that’s not the question : if you release something so similar to MS surface, you won’t be able to sell it : there is a patent on surface design…

any other design ideas? i kind of liked the one at the right(the one which looks like MS Surface), because those borders give a lot of utility, ie we could use it to rest out hands or place few things

If we’re saying the right one looks like MS Surface, than the left one looks like ideum’s http://www.ideum.com/products

Patents aren’t determined by the look of the device so that’s no really the issue.

I wouldn’t be determining what’s better based on look, but based on function. Having the glass space is better as it allows for resting arms/hands and other objects and therefore I consider that one better.
