Hello!

I have a general question if sth. is possible to realise:
I will have a projector which should project a screen on a surface (rear-side). The screen should be seen the whole day,
but the interaction will be done only 1h per day. So for saving power and reducing the noise it would be nice if there is some kind
of material which can “save” the screen so anyone could see it and I could switch off the projector.

Does a solution exist for this scenario?

Best Regards.

But ca. one year ago I read something like this, that a kind of surface can save those images once projected.
But I can not find it anymore.

Okay, thanks a lot. Do you know a forum or a community which could know this?

This is an LCD that saves the images written on it without using power, but is a basic monochrome one. It’s probably no use to you, but you might be able to find out some detail of the technology used and google it! http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/boogie-board-lcd-tablet-25-01-2010/

Ah, that was a LCD. That’s possible that it was not a saved screen with the usage of a prpjector.
