so before I start, my panel is going to be on display at my school and it’s going to showcase stuff on space exploration.
Now alot of cool stuff has been going on here, with with the software. Origionaly, all I was going to have was a modified
version of the fliker app. but now I got some ideas:
I think that it would be cool to combine the flicker app with the you tube video stuff (just refere to a local directory like I did with the photo app) with the touch keyboard stuff so that people can sign a guest book or even comment on the pictures/video. Also a off line web browser with full articles from wikipedia.
For the photo app, I think it would be cool to have like a column on the left side that allows people to load different sets/stacks of photos, ie a stack about mars and then a stack on the moon etc. In these stacks there will be a few photos and one or two videos. after people mess around with the stuff, have the option to touch a point on the top right of the screen to go read the off line wikipedia articles related to that stack. and then sign the guest book (maybe sign using fingure instead of keyboard)
Also on the bottom center of the screen, have a menu like the apple dock to select to see the photos and videos/ the guest book/ and the wiki
this is going to be like a kiosk, and needs to be off line just so it dosn’t get hacked, the pc is a old craper.
I think the consolidation of these apps will show off what the NUI group can do!
i am asking help for this because I don’t know how to get these different apps glued together in a seamless way like this
