A while ago I released an alpha version of my diy (do it yourself) ftir multi touch display howto guide, which I recently updated. Even though this guide is not finished yet, I wanted to share it with you people out there anyway.
I’m sure there are grammar/spelling errors in there (since English is not my mother tongue) and other things that aren’t complete or open for discussion. But it should give a pretty clear view on how to build a multi touch display.
This guide mostly consists of images that I took myself. This guide handles the subject of hardware and not software. Maybe I’ll implement a section related to software as well in a later stadium. My intentions are to review and upgrade this guide later on.
If anybody has any suggestions or comments/feedback let me know.
The changes I made since version 1:
* Added a couple of more pictures
* Added a section about how to make a silicone rubber sheet
* Revised layout/spelling/grammar
* Put the prices in there as well, for the materials used
